Spring 2026 Updates
We are happy and excited to announce some amazing updates that will be happening this Spring!
WyMod Supercharger Revamp
It’s time to say goodbye to the current Supercharger… we’ve been working in the background to make the Supercharger even smaller! We recently got the new circuit boards in, and after finishing case design, we will be releasing it publicly. It’ll come in all the colors we provide now, and if all goes well we’re looking to have a release around end of April into possibly early May.
WyMod AeroStream V2
You may have noticed we’ve been out of stock on the AeroStream, and for good reason. We will no longer be making it, that’s because we’ve been working hard to give you the AeroStream V2! This is our most advanced design yet. Featuring a whole new Bluetooth module, custom programmed, we’ve cracked AirPods support, as well as play/pause/skip controls, with a whole other multitude of features! We really can’t wait to share this with you all. We are also introducing the same color variation as the Supercharger! You’ll now be able to get even more customizable with our best adapter yet. We plan to release these with the Supercharger revamp.
ISO’s 5th Gen Glass Faceplates
We’ve partnered with designer ISOMETRIC to ship out 5th Gen Glass Faceplate covers. The current selection comes in black, white, and a limited stock of transparent faceplate covers. Constructed with Gorilla Glass 5 and at 1.8mm thick these aren’t just screen protectors, they’ll bring new life to your cherished iPod. We plan to release these with the Supercharger revamp.
Project: SuperDock
We’re now in the early stages of developing our own advanced iPod dock! It will have similar functionality as the original iPod dock with some awesome new features:
USB-C Adaption
USB-C to FireWire charging adaption
Aux Out
Advanced Bluetooth (same as AeroStream V2)
IR Receiver compatibility (will work with Apple TV remote)
Wireless web app remote - The ability to access your iPod from your web browser, will have more advanced capabilities like seeing time elapsed on the current song, song name, playlist access, etc.
Basically, in the same way a cars head unit interfaces with iPods, you’ll be able to do the same directly from your device!
We’re actively working on this project, and hoping for a release date near the late summer of this year!
In some sad news… it’s time to say goodbye to the Simultaneous line of products. Due to the constant confusion we’ve been getting from the community, the extra work involved, the low demand for those products, and a seemingly mysterious reason that version doesn’t work with the new batches of Superchargers and AeroStream V2s we’ve decided to retire this feature from our product lines. We will however provide instructions on how to “simultaneous” your respective WyMod adapter after the fact, even if you don’t have as luck much as us, it’ll be good to document.
We can’t wait to bring you these updates! As always thank you for your support as all these things happen because of the community. Stay Podding!
